Allen Edmund Boecher

Allen Edmund Boecher, 64, of Hillsboro and formerly of Montrose passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Hillsboro.

Allen was born on May 5, 1961, in Fort Madison, the son of Ronald and Margaret (Daley) Boecher.  He graduated from Fort Madison High School with the class of 1979.  After his graduation he enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.  He worked at the Iowa State Penitentiary in Fort Madison for several years.  Allen enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his sister, Ronda (Randy) Stoneburner and four nieces and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, LeRoy and Lottie Boecher and Allen and Thelma Daley.

Private family graveside services and burial will be held later in the Oakland Cemetery at Fort Madison.  Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant.
