Betty Hudson Obituary
Betty J. Hudson 81 of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Park Place Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 8th at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Tuesday where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. According to her wishes the casket will remain closed. Memorials have been established to the Hillsboro Cemetery or to the Des. Moines County Animal Shelter in her memory.
Betty was born on March 24, 1929, Harrisburg Township rural Hillsboro, Iowa the daughter of Theodore R. & Phyllis Marie Barnett Marshall. She attended school in Hillsboro, and was united in marriage to Isaac J. Hudson on December 12, 1945, in Kahoka, Missouri, he preceded her in death on March 1980.
Betty is survived by her family and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and her sister.
