Beverly Leu Obituary
Beverly S. Leu, 60, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Oakland Mills Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her memory.
Beverly was born on June 1, 1955, in Jefferson County the daughter of Elmer & Mayme Savage Luke. She was united in marriage to Raymond P. Leu on October 7, 1995; he preceded her in death on March 24, 2010. Beverly worked for the Henry County Hospital for many years in the house keeping department. She enjoyed going to yard sales, flea markets and collecting wind chimes.
She is survived by her children; Patricia Wales of Burlington and Rickey Peppers of Mulberry, Arkansas, three grand-daughters, two brothers; Noble Luke of Iowa City and Orville Luke of Ft. Madison; and two sisters; Mary Patton and Pam Luke both of New London, and her mother Mayme of New London.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father, and her husband.
