Catherine Stinson Obituary
Catherine Lea Stinson 45 of New London passed away on Monday, September 21, 2009, as a result of an accident.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 25th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Brian Swafford officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. According to her wishes her body has been cremated. A memorial has been established in her memory.
Catherine was born on February 2, 1964 in Lincoln Nebraska, the daughter of Terry D. and Margaret "Jane" Connealy Stinson. She graduated from High School in Salina Kansas. She loved and enjoyed animals, especially her new dog "Lita" which was a loving and loyal companion. She enjoyed spending weekends with close friends. Cathy had worked at Hon Industrials, McKay Envelope both of Mt. Pleasant and Pinnacle Foods of Ft. Madison.
She is survived by her companion Kim Mathews of North Liberty and her mother Jane Stinson of Phoenix AZ and her father Terry Stinson of Peoria, AZ. and a host of loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
