Daniel Edwards Obituary
Daniel L. Edwards 68, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mt. Pleasant with President Jared Miller officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Thompson Cemetery rural Bonaparte. Memorials may be directed to the Fellowship Cup in his memory.
Daniel was born on December 22, 1945 in Keokuk, Iowa the son of Glenn & Mae Ida Matthews Edwards. He grew up in Bonaparte. After he finished his education he went to Nevada to work in maintenance at the hotels. Following his retirement he moved back to Mt. Pleasant. He enjoyed fishing, old cars and was a great story teller. Daniel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of Mt. Pleasant.
He is survived by a host of friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents.
