Darrell Dean Hoaglin

Darrell Dean Hoaglin, 72, of Winfield passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Darrell was born on January 24, 1952, in Mt. Pleasant the son of Donald D. and Reva (Johnson) Hoaglin. He graduated from Harmony High School.   He worked in manufacturing.  In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time on his motorcycle.  Darrell was a member of the North American Hunting Club and the Hillsboro Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Jason Hoaglin, Angela Hoaglin and Jake Hoaglin, fifteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, his mother, Reva Helmuth, his brother, Jeff Hoaglin and his wife, Robin  and his sister, Shari Feuerbach, four stepchildren, Kevin Carter, Alex Carter, Nick Carter and Ethan Carter and two adopted daughters, Brandy Ridgley and Mindy Hoaglin, along with nine nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald, one brother, Robert “Bob” Hoaglin and an adopted daughter, Mindy Hoaglin.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Hillsboro Cemetery.  A memorial has been established in his memory.  Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.
