David L. Fuller, 83, of Washington and formerly of the Mt. Pleasant and Salem communities, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Aspire of Washington.
David was born on December 27, 1940, in Salem, Iowa the son of Harold Roscoe and Cecelia Julia (Feehan) Fuller. He received his education at the Oak Grove and Center Country Schools.
David worked for various gas stations working on cars. He helped many farmers in the Salem area and worked for Whaley Waste of Mt. Pleasant. He enjoyed attending Midwest Old Threshers and served as the director of the antique tractor area for a few years.
He is survived by his children, Brenda, Beverly and Margie, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his four brothers, Henry (Jerri) Fuller, Clyde Fuller, Walter (Susan) Fuller, and Ronald (Jane) Fuller, his sister, Opal (Keith) Koresko and a step-sister, Louise (Lowell) Stegall, along with nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, a son in infancy and two brothers, Frank Fuller and Wayne Fuller.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Michael Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem South Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory.
