Evelyn Gregory Obituary
Evelyn I. Gregory 93, of Hannibal Missouri and formerly of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 4th at 10:00 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Earl Swigart officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Burlington. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Memorials may be directed to Calvary Baptist Church in her memory.
Evelyn was born on December 4, 1916, at Kingston, Iowa the daughter of Daniel & Lillie Frances Tee. She was united in marriage to Frank Brown on March 8, 1942, he preceded her in death on January 21, 1963, after his death she married William Gregory on December 20, 1976, he preceded her in death in 1977. She worked with home healthcare services. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by her son Charles Cross of Springfield, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one daughter Polly Littlehale, 5 brothers: Lawrence, Elmer, Floyd, Dale and Wilbert and 4 sisters: Mabel McCabe, Frances Seymour, Julie Ruse and Viola McCabe.
