Harold W. Polson 68 of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Monday evening. March 24, 2008
at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Home Cemetery at Worthington Missouri with words of comfort by Jeff Murphy. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A memorial has been established to the family and may be left at the funeral home.
Harold was born on August 17, 1939 in Stahl Missouri the son of Hugh & Edith Brockhart Polson. He lived in Missouri and the Batavia, Iowa area before moving to Mt. Pleasant. He worked at Cardinal Community Schools and at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant as a custodian. He was an avid outdoors man.
He is survived by his sister Karen Fisher of Ottumwa, and two brothers: Dale Polson and Henry Polson both of Knoxville, Iowa.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Jane Deuser, Dorothy Swanson and Phyllis Skaggs and one brother: Herbert (Shorty) Polson.
