Ida Louise Kerr 77, of Fairfield passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 3:00 p.m.at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday at the Murphy Funeral Home. According to her wishes her body will be cremated following the service and burial will be at a later date. A memorial has been established in her memory.
Ida was born on June 29, 1935, in Douds, Iowa the daughter of Elmer & Rose Scott Luke Sr. She was united in marriage to Donald Kerr.
She is survived by her children; Ida Kerr of Fairfield and Don (Ruth) Kerr of Des. Moines, Anna Kerr of Keota and David Kerr of Woodward, nine grandchildren; three sisters: Cleone Downing of Wheatfield, IN, Lydia Miller of Schuylerville, S.C. and Minnie Green of AL. one brother Melvin Luke of Glasgow.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two daughters: Debra and Linda, two sisters: Judy Bruder and Dorothy Luke and three brothers: Robert, Elmer Jr. and Eugene.
