Irene Krieger Obituary
Irene E. Krieger 94, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010,
at the Henry County Health Center.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, December 13th at 1:30 at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. In lieu of flowers family prefers memorials to Pleasant Manor Care Center in her memory.
Irene was born on October 24, 1916 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of Howard William & Glesse Molsbbe Wobbe. She was united in marriage to Everett A. Krieger on December 25, 1937, in Henry County. She was a homemaker, loved to go mushrooming, working in her garden and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons: Lester Krieger and his wife Marilyn of Nevada, Iowa and Wayne Krieger and his wife Nancy of Salem., several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons Arthur Howard in infancy and Everett Jr. and a sister: Neva Riley.
