Jill Diane Howe 67, of Independence, Missouri and formerly of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014, at the Village of Jackson Creek in Independence, Missouri.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the Chapel at Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in her memory.
Jill was born on December 16, 1946, in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of Richard & Jeanette Martin Howe. Jill worked for 38 and half years with the Department of Health and Human Services before retiring in 2012. She was a member of the NARF, and Pearl Harbor Survivor's Sons and Daughter. Jill enjoyed attending Midwest Old Threshers Reunion, traveling, shopping and going to Las Vegas, most of spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Lisa and Edwin Patterson and her nephew; Nathaniel Howe Patterson all of Overland Park Kansas.
Jill is preceded in death by her parents.
