Judith Kae Scarff

Judith Kae Scarff, 75, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant.

 Judy was born on September 10, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of Thomas Ray and Lillian Marie (Ford) Scarff. 

 Judy worked at the Mt. Pleasant Correctional Facility starting as a guard and worked her way up to a polygraph technician.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, being outdoors as much as possible and watching the hummingbirds.  Judy enjoyed music and always enjoyed a good concert.  She found peace watching the water at Oakland Mills. 

 Judy is survived by her son, Travis (Kelli) Goddard, her grandchildren, Mia Goddard, Brooklyn Goddard, Hunter Fink and Tea Fink, her sister, Patty Scarff along with her nephew, Tony McDowell and her niece, Terri (Dean) Dalbey.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Shelly Lyn Fink and a nephew, Tom McDowell.

 A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall at 103 South Jackson Street, Mt. Pleasant.  A private family burial will be held in the Forest Home Cemetery. According to her wishes cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.
