Lazetta M. Millard 56 of Winfield passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Henry County Health Center.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at the Faith Christian Outreach Church in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Tom Roberts officiating. According to her wishes her body has been cremated. Those wishing to send cards may send them to her daughter Anna at 405 South Maple Street Winfield, Iowa.
Lazetta was born on February 2, 1952 at Anamosa, Iowa the daughter of William & Neva Townsend Millard. She worked in Cedar Rapids as a cab driver and then as a dispatcher for the Darrah's Towing Service. She was a member of the Faith Christian Outreach Church of Mt. Pleasant, and she enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Phillip Wilkinson and his wife Amy of Cedar Rapids, Fred Wilkinson and his fiancé Krista of Wapello, Philanna Hammock and her husband Steve, and Riki Christner and her husband Alan all of Winfield, Randi Garcia and her husband Refugio of Wapello and Effie Campbell and her husband Cory of Ft. Madison. 14 grandchildren. Four brothers: Randy Townsend of Anamosa, William Millard of Missouri, Ronnie Millard of Oelwein and John Millard of Brandon. One sister: Kimberly Espirito of Winfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson Gary Jr. and one brother Neil.
