Lindy Greenfield Obituary
Lindy Allan Greenfield 54, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Terry Jerrel officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Murphy Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established in his memory.
Lindy was born on November 12, 1961, in Mt. Pleasant the son of Leonard A. & LaVon "Bonnie" Timmerman Greenfield. He was united in marriage to Brandi Cassady they later divorced. Lindy drove a grain truck; he enjoyed working on cars, going to car shows and was friend to all in need of help.
He is survived by his children; Dana McKittrick of Mt. Pleasant, Briana Greenfield of Boone and Lindy Allan Greenfield Jr. "Michael Wade Kilbourn" of Muscatine, one grandchild; Prestley Skye Greenfield; his mother LaVon and step father Raymond Kaufman of Mt. Pleasant, two brothers; Glen (Lynnda Taylor) Greenfield of Mt. Pleasant, Larry (Lori) Greenfield of Ely and his sister Lynette Greenfield of Mt. Pleasant.
Lindy was preceded in death by his father.
