Max Bush Obituary
Max S. Bush 65, of Bettendorf, Iowa and former resident of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Friday, August 4, 2006, at his home in Bettendorf.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 7, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at the Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Larry Jannings will officiate. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home to sign the register. According to his wishes his body has been cremated. A memorial has been established and may be lefted at the funeral home.
Max was born on May 16, 1941, in Albia Iowa the son of Max & Dorothy Thompson Bush. On July 3, 1980, at Rome Iowa he married Kathie Potter. Max served his country in the Army from 1960 to 1963. He worked at the Mt. Pleasant Correctional Facility as the Power Plant Engineer.
He is survived by his wife Kathie of Bettendorf, three daughters: Angela Kay Armstronge and Jodi Lynn Wells both of Oskaloosa, Iowa and Teena Lea Carlson of Bettendorf, Iowa. His son: Byron Jay Carlson of Bettendorf, Iowa. Nine grandchildren. Three sisters: Dorothy Yavonne Ellis, Carol Ann Harnden and Kathy Christine Wilson all of Helena Montana. One brother Ronald Ray Bush of Mt. Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
