Michael I. Thompson 64 of Mt. Pleasant passed away at his home in Mt. Pleasant on Monday, June 21, 2010.
According to his wishes his body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Michael was born on August 28, 1945, in Ottumwa, Iowa the son of Sandra Noe Thompson. He graduated from Ottumwa High School and had attended Community College in Orlando, Florida. He was an EMT and had worked in Florida. After moving to Iowa he worked at Tenco in Fairfield and Flexible Services in Mt. Pleasant. He was in the Army Reserves, enjoyed going to Iowa Wesleyan basketball and softball games, loved animals and was a Chicago Cubs Fan.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
