Pamela Scott Obituary

Pamela Sue Scott, 67, of Salem, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington surrounded by her loving family.

Pamela was born on January 13, 1956 in Macomb, Illinois the daughter of Robert and Catherine (Feehan) Barnes, Sr. She was united in marriage to Gary Scott, Sr., he preceded her in death in 1976. Pamela was a very loving, caring person who was always there for her family and friends. She loved to be outside fishing and hunting mushrooms and taking care of her pets. She was a great cook, but most of all spending time with her family was the most important thing to her.

She is survived by her children, Gary (Kimberly) Scott, Jr. of Burlington and Anna Webb (Pat Kinaman) of Salem, her grandchildren, Britny, Dominick, Tracey, Isaac, Ady, Braiden, Raelenya, Abigail and Dillion, two great grandchildren, her sister, Connie Henry, of Carman, Illinois, her step brothers and sisters, John Feehan, of Mt. Pleasant, Steve Feehan, of Salem, Linda Weir, of Rome and Carla Woodsmall, of Lockridge, along with several nieces and nephews.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Becky Barnes, her brother, Robert Barnes, Jr., and a step sister, Ilene Duncan.

Pamela's family will host a celebration of her life on Saturday, July 29, 2023, beginning at 2 p.m. at her home in Salem. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.
