Randy Skipton Obituary
Randy J. Skipton, 53, of Mt. Pleasant passed away at his home on Monday, February 23, 2015.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015, at the Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, with Pastor Jim Luder officiating. Memorials may be directed to HCI Care Services of Mt. Pleasant.
Randy was born on March 20, 1961, in Muscatine, the son of John H. & Janet J. Dunnahoo. Randy enjoyed watching NASCAR, motorcycle events, computer games, playing pool, and listening to music. He was a people person, and touched many people during his lifetime, and is now reunited with Sportster, his rottweiler.
He is survived by his children, Tammie (Joe) Miller of Burlington, Randy Joe (Dawn) Cunningham of Rome and Chapin (Jamie) Kindred of Washington, ten grandchildren, Hazzie, Morgan, Angel, Kamerin, Kylee, Sheldon, Chantel, Gavin, Tammy, and Carly; two brothers, Jeff Skipton and Richard Skipton, three sisters, Peggy Rich, Cheryl Stone and Nancy Graber. Randy will be missed by many long-time friends and companions, two of those being Tabatha Blind and Tina Nordyke.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and brother-in-law Melody and Victor Taylor.
