Rhonda Sammons Obituary
Rhonda S. Sammons 38 of Winfield passed away at her home on Saturday, March 8, 2008.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Jerry Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Grant Cemetery at Rome, Iowa. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to her daughter's education fund.
Rhonda was born on May 23, 1969 in Fairfield, Iowa the daughter of John F. & Carol White Sammons. She graduated from the Mt. Pleasant High School in 1988. She enjoyed fishing, and her pets, but most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her parents, John and Carol Sammons of Rome, her daughter Renay Halterman and her father Mike Halterman of Rome, her brothers, Brian Burden of Mt. Pleasant and Doug Burden and his wife Brenda of New London, her sister Denise Cosgrove and her husband Tony of Salem and her special friend John Septer of Winfield. Several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brother Johnnie.
