Robert D. Klopfenstein 68, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Earl Swigart officiating. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Murphy Funeral Home. Private burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. A memorial has been established in his memory.
Robert was born on February 18, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant the son of Dale & Juanita Wood Klopfenstein. He enjoyed playing cards, animals, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his brother: Richard Klopfenstein of Mt. Pleasant one niece and two nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
