Sandra Hart Obituary
Sandra K. Hart, 68, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Regan Stoops officiating. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Friday at the Murphy Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Following the services cremation will be accorded. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
Sandra was born on May 11, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of George Washington & Ruth Deck Schroeder. She was united in marriage to Gary D. Hart on November 10, 1972. Sandra was a homemaker taking care of her family and enjoyed baking, sewing and her flowers. Her grand-daughters were a big joy in her life. She was a member of the Lockridge Saddle Club.
She is survived by her husband Gary of Mt. Pleasant, and her children; Tina (Jason) Nichting of Lockridge, Jeremy (Amy) Hart of Mt. Pleasant and April (Adam) Johnston of Mt. Pleasant; 7 grand-daughters and her brother Russell Schroeder of Burlington.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Roger.
