Teddy Cosgrove Obituary
Teddy G. Cosgrove 77, of Salem passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends from 9 until service time on Monday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in his memory.
Teddy was born on September 26, 1934, at Linneas Missouri, the son of James A. & Ola Dot Corzette Cosgrove. He was united in marriage to Rosina Ibbotson on July 29, 1955. He was an Army Veteran. Teddy farmed and worked at the Iowa Ammunition Plant in Middleton retiring after 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching western movies, reading and his animals. He was a Boy Scout Leader while his sons were in the Boy Scouts.
He is survived by his wife Rosina of Salem and his children: Timothy Cosgrove of Independence, Missouri, Angela (Earl) Cosgrove of Brighton, Illinois, Tony (Denise) Cosgrove of Salem, Sarah Watson (Chris) of Salem and Terry Cosgrove of Houghton. 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jimmy Cosgrove.
