Theola Wilcox Obituary
Theola O. Wilcox 93, of Ft. Madison passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at the Madison Care Center in Ft. Madison.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Earl Beal officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Great River Hospice in her memory.
Theola was born on May 3, 1921, in Worthington, Minnesota the daughter of Warren E. & Hazel C. Sowles Wilcox. She enjoyed listening to music and attended Joy Baptist Church in Ft. Madison.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Theola was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Charles Wilcox and Jim Wilcox and her sister; Etta Lou Sanford.
