Victor L. Taylor 55 of rural Lockridge passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hopsitals and Clinics.
According to his wishes his body has been cremated and no services are planned.
Victor LeRoy Taylor was born on June 19, 1954 in Iowa City the son of Glenn Herman & Velma Lucille German Taylor. He was united in marriage to Janet Rice then he later married Melody A. Skipton on September 26, 1988 in Mt. Pleasant. He had worked at Pulse Auto Salvage in Rome and was a mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Melody and one son Christopher (Nelson) Taylor of rural Lockridge, two brothers: William (Crow) Taylor of Fairfield and Mike (Squid) Taylor of Rome. Two close friends Kevin Nue of Mt. Pleasant and Heather Kinbrough of Mt. Pleasant and nieces and nephews.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents.
