Wayne E. Hendricks 58, of rural Mt. Pleasant passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 11, 2011, at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will full military honors will be in the National Cemetery at Keokuk. Friends may call from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home; the family will not be present. A memorial has been established in his memory
Wayne was born on March 10, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant the son of Roscoe M. & Phyllis Campbell Hendricks. He was united in marriage to Mary Zaugg in 1976, they later divorced. He had worked at Lomont Molding Inc., Metro Group Corporation, Heatilator and Alanz all of Mt. Pleasant. Wayne served his country in the Army during Vietnam, in his free time he enjoyed watching Star Trek.
Wayne is survived by his mother Phyllis, his son Robert Hendricks and his daughter Hayley Hendricks all of Mt. Pleasant, one brother and one sister.
He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and his grandparents.
